Unlikely Heroes
“Welcome to my journey around local, sustainable food production in England and Wales. A journey among the passionate and committed….a story of unlikely heroes.”
Walter Lewis has created a beautiful and thought provoking photographic record of his year long journey around the landworkers of the United Kingdom. Come and see some of his images displayed in the Harvest Farm Shop.

The gallery is open during shop hours Monday – Thursday 9:00 – 5:00 Friday to Saturday 9:00 – 6:00 Sunday Closed
Part of the exhibition will be displayed in shop windows so will be seen even when the shop is shut!

Pricing We have tried to keep prices as affordable as we can whilst ensuring that everyone is paid a fair rate for their work. Most activities feature a reduced rate thanks to the kind support of Okehampton United Charities. If you can’t afford the full rate please buy a ticket at the reduced rate. Do get in touch if cost is a problem.
