Martin and Sara will be running a year long program of farm explorations up at Hilltown Organics just outside of Okehampton. More details will follow but here is an outline of what’s to come.
Feb 26th- Tree Planting 11am-4pm FREE event
March 26th- Mushroom inoculation 2-6pm £25 (concessions/reduced fees available)
April 23rd- Foraging Guided Walk on the farm, 2-6pm (£10)
May 28th – “Temperate Rainforest” walk at Hilltown with Pete Yeo (TBC) £5
June 10th- Climate & Floristic change in Okehampton- A guided walk exploring the woods of the future with Pete Yeo (TBC) £5
June 25th- Scything course with Adrian Thomas (more info to follow)
July 9th – Moths, Butterflies and Insects 8am-12pm-moth traping and meadow walk (£10 individual/£20 family)
August 20th –Open day & Nettle Wildfest-11am-5pm (free)
September 24th – Autumn Walk and Foray 2-5pm £10
