Hilltown Organics Farm Visit

The Farm Visit
Come to see the farm and go on a guided walk across the fields. We will look at our no-dig raised beds and the agroforestry system as a whole to include:
- explaining the importance of soil biology for the health of the soil and plants
- the use of weeds as allies in looking after the soil
- the principles of no-dig
- the general growing system that aims to get as close to a natural system as possible
Thanks to the kind support of Okehampton United CharitiesHarvest Workers Co-op can offer free minibus transport from Okehampton centre to Hilltown. Please let us know in advance if you would like this.

Pricing We have tried to keep prices as affordable as we can whilst ensuring that everyone is paid a fair rate for their work. Most activities feature a reduced rate thanks to the kind support of Okehampton United Charities. If you can’t afford the full rate please buy a ticket at the reduced rate. Do get in touch if cost is a problem.
