Seasonal Family Workshops

We are having to change the way we do our education and community work check here for more details and below to see Family Workshops going live.

Family Workshop : Spring Leaves Jo and Kevin with leafy art, nettle crisps, potato planting and a story

Family Workshop : Spring Seeds Jo and Kevin with wild garlic pesto making, spring planting, branch decorating and the story of the green children

Harvest Workers Coop family workshops are growing well. The fourth Saturday of every month sees the lovely EcoHub filled with creativity. We have seasonal craft activities, fireside cooking, storytelling, gardening in the raised beds and more. As one five year old said

It’s the really fun place!

The afternoon is run at your own pace with lots of time to drop in and drop out of the activities. We’re developing the growing side of things. In the last session beans, potatoes and garlic were planted.

We’re really pleased to see how families are returning month by month and meeting up with each other. Pop into the Harvest Farm Shop to find out more.

Thank you to Learn Devon for funding the Family Workshops

Thank you to Okehampton United Charities for funding our education and community program of activity
