Workshop Notes

It would be great if you have a sewing machine you can bring! Not essential though.

About this event

Keen to fight against plastic? Want to learn how to sew? Join in on our grocery mag making marathon!
The bags we make will use both recycled fabric and organic cotton, and will be sold at the Harvest Farm Shop for a fair price to tackle the overuse of plastic in our shopping. Help to reduce, reuse and recycle and take your own set home!

If you have your own sewing machine and can bring it do let us know!

We are really pleased to be running a whole range of Farm Visits, Food Workshops, Creative Workshops, Film Shows, Events and more for the community of Okehampton and beyond.

Tickets can be reserved through this website or in the shop or by emailing hello@harvestworkerscoop.org.uk
Pricing We have tried to keep prices as affordable as we can whilst ensuring that everyone is paid a fair rate for their work. Most activities feature a reduced rate thanks to the kind support of Okehampton United Charities. If you can’t afford the full rate please buy a ticket at the reduced rate. Do get in touch if cost is a problem.

We do hope you enjoy what we are doing and if you are interested in a food and farming activity and can’t see it here just let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

A very Big Thanks to Okehampton United Charities for supporting this programme.
