Seed Saving Workshop
September 13 @ 2:00 pm – 5:30 pm

Join Jen Howarth (from Hilltown Organics) for an afternoon learning how you can save seeds from your vegetable plot. Including:
- understanding plant pollination to help save seeds
- the difference between F1’s and Open-pollinated seeds
- different approaches to saving seed, including variety maintenance and landraces
- try out different seed saving techniques you can use at home with simple equipment
- Zigzag seed cleaner demonstration
- Break with hot drinks and cake included!

Pricing We have tried to keep prices as affordable as we can whilst ensuring that everyone is paid a fair rate for their work. Most activities feature a reduced rate thanks to the kind support of Okehampton United Charities. If you can’t afford the full rate please buy a ticket at the reduced rate. Do get in touch if cost is a problem.
