Growing Mushrooms by Log Inoculation Workshop

Come to the farm and learn how to grow your own gourmet mushrooms !
£35 per person (reduced rates available for low income, please get in touch)
A brief introduction to the various methods of growing mushrooms, followed by a practical hands-on deep dive into growing Shiitake mushrooms on logs outdoors using low-tech methods.
Log growing is an ancient and very sustainable way of growing mushrooms and produces the most dense and nutritious mushrooms

Pricing We have tried to keep prices as affordable as we can whilst ensuring that everyone is paid a fair rate for their work. Most activities feature a reduced rate thanks to the kind support of Okehampton United Charities. If you can’t afford the full rate please buy a ticket at the reduced rate. Do get in touch if cost is a problem.
